SNAKE IN THE LETTERBOX!!!

I love living in Australia... I have travelled pretty much all over the world, BUT... you can't beat Australia, it's clean, friendly, the weather is FANTASTIC, it still has HUGE potential in many aspects for anybody who really does want to work hard and play hard and I thank the universe 'every day' for giving me the chance to live here! BUT, and there is a BIG BUT (NOT big butt!!)... I am being forever surpised at some of the very strange but beautiful things Australia has ie: Spiders, the REDBACK spider is the most gorgeous looking spider I have ever seen, it's very similar to a BLACKWIDOW except that it has a red stripe down it's back, and it actually eats it's male counterpart after they have mated! I have seen many of the REDBACK spiders in the garden, in the house etc and they can be VERY dangerous if you try to mess with them... however, if you leave them alone they are quite ok!!!

The Kangaroos and EMUS are just hopping anywhere and everywhere out in the bush or in open land which I always find very fascinating, and then there's the KOALAS, and although you don't really see too many in the wild, you do see plenty of them in the zoo's, and then there's the SNAKES, which is where I am going with my story today!!! I went to the letterbox at my house today, opened it up expecting some post and all of a sudden I leapt about five feet into the air, why?, because I was nearly bitten by a snake in the letterbox!!! Now, I don't know if it's somebody who has seen me perform and didn't like the show (only kidding)... it must be living in the brick wall at the end of the garden... I tried to catch it (snakes and spiders don't bother me... although I wouldn't make it a habit of going looking for them), but as soon as I released it's tail it shot back up into the hole in the wall... so it's still there somewhere!!! Now, i'm not a snake handler and never would want to be, although I do admire them for doing the job they do, so I wasn't sure what the snake was, but at that split second it scared the sh*t out of me! :) So, the moral of the story is: ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED in all aspects of your life!

Taken Out For A Surprise Dinner!

I had a client today for Stop Smoking and the Hypnosis Therapy clients can sometimes be a bit draining because you take on all of their issues before you can help them... So it was a nice surprise to go home at the end of the day and be taken out to dinner... I was taken for a thai meal in a place called Surfers Paradise, it's a small restaurant and the food is excellent and tonight was no exception!

Then I was taken to a place called Max Brenner (http://www.maxbrenner.com/) which is a FANTASTIC concept, it's a 'chocolate' restaurant!!! Pretty much everything is chocolate, and they have just opened one up in Surfers Paradise... I had a chocolate waffle, strawberries, ice-cream and a coffee, it was 'delicious'! Then I went home, chilled out for a while, wrote the show for my Mount Isa trip and am now ready to go! :)

Preaparing For A Show Is All Part Of The Fun!

The day in the life of a Stage Hypnotist is mstly always great fun... and even the preparation for a show is fun, there's never a dull moment but you never know what you're going to get on stage once the show starts!

But, to see the audience laugh and laugh makes it all worth while! I am preparing for a show in a place called Mount Isa, it's a mining town in the middle of pretty much nowhere, with just 1 flight in and one flight out each day... and full of very hard mining type mens men. I have done a few of the mining towns and they tend to be some of my favourite shows, and although I often get quite a few comments about the way I am dressed (suit & tie), by the time the show has ended they have forgotten about the suit & tie because they have been laughing and mesemerised by the naughty antics going on with the volunteers on stage!

It can also be a real challenge for a Stage Hypnotist when in some of these smaller towns, the volunteers really aren't there to be hypnotised, but to try and ruin the show by coming on stage to show that the Hypnotist 'can't' hypnotise them!!! The great thing about that is that most of the time the skeptics are hypnotised very quickly! I will be giving an update on the show after the weekend...

Had Hypnosis Therapy Clients Today... Offered Part In BIG SHOW!

I had Hypnosis Therapy clients today... I see clients for all sorts of issues and problems, and to see them go away happy and rid of their issues or problems means so much to me! I have been blessed with a skill that can be used for so many GREAT things, to make people laugh, to rid people of their long standing issues and problems, to help them believe in themselves, plus much more... It also helped me in many ways, 'The Power Of The Mind' that is to get me away from my very rough and tough surroundings whe I was younger, the mind is an amazing thing and we can do much much with it... so NEVER believe that you can't do anything, always believe that YOU CAN, I am living proof that you CAN achieve 'anything' that you put your mind to!!!

I have been asked to team up with some great entertainers, real leaders in their fields to do a show called 'NAUGHTY NIGHT OUT'... it's for 18+ only and will be a night to remember, the three other performers are: 'PRICASSO', the world's only penile artist!... 'SANDY GANDHI', Australia's most easterly indian!... 'MAGICIAN SIMON HEART', in his new 'barely magic' act!...and of course myself, 'HYPNOTIST MARK ANTHONY'... Australia's Naughtiest Hypnotist!... keep logging onto their website at: http://www.nno.com.au/

Went To See The Fabulous 'DRIFTERS'!

It was Anzac day today in Australia and it's a big day to say 'THANK YOU' to all those Diggers who fought and died in the war... so A BIG THANK YOU to them all!

I went to a place called Seagulls this evening with my wife and friends, we wanted to get out and see another show and what a great show we saw!

We turned up expecting a tribute show to see the Drifters, BUT... to our pleasant surprise it wasn't a tribute show at all, it was THE REAL DEAL... it was the real Drifters and they were UNBELIEVABLE, well done to them all... I don't know how much longer they'll be doing shows but if they get to your area... GO AND SEE THEM! It turned it to a very late night but it was well worth it...

Went To A Hypnotist Show!

I had a client today for Hypnosis Therapy, and then I went to a Hypnotist show this evening at a place called Twin Towns... Yes, I went to another fellow Hypnotist's show!!! :)

His name is Peter Powers, and his show is very funny... he has a cruel sense of humor, BUT... he calls himself the 'Wicked Hypnotist'... so if you ever get a chance to see him make sure that you do... I like to watch other hypnotist shows, not to steal any ideas but because I have a lot of respect for them all... there is no need to hate each other just because you're in the same field as another entertainer, there's plenty of work out there when you look for it, sometimes you have to look harder than other times but it's out there! :)

I am going to put a Motivational or Inspirational quote on my blog pages every day, so be sure to keep coming back.. here's today's! -

Working Hard On My Stop Smoking Seminars!

I have been very, very busy swatting up on all of my information to do with Stopping Smoking using my 'SIMPLYEASY' method... When I do something I like to make sure that I do it to my best ability, and to make sure that I am putting in as much effort as I can to achieve MAXIMUM results for my clients... so I prcatice and practice and practice to get those results, BUT... the great thing about putting in so much effort is that I then have time to spend with my family and friends when and how I want. One of my favourite quotes of all time is:
BEHOLD THE TURTLE, HE MAKES PROGRESS ONLY WHEN HE STICKS HIS NECK OUT!

In simple terms: If you want to achieve ANYTHING in life, it first starts by STICKING YOUR NECK OUT and TAKING A CHANCE!

Seeing Clients Today!

There is as a 'very serious' side of me as a Clinical Hypnotist as well as a Stage Hypnotist, and to be able to see the difference in people as they leave my office feeling something changed inside of them, whether it be a Stop Smoker, a Weight Loss client, being rid of a Fear or Phobia that they've had for years and years, a Sexual issue or whatever it is... It's just great to see people being in a position to change their future lives and become 'BRAND NEW PEOPLE'!, Happier, Healthier, more Confident and more Positive and I thank the 'universe' every day for giving me a skill to help people change their lives 'FOR THE BETTER'...

A Night Out With The Dead!

Had a good night last night... We went to see a Psychic show in New South Wales, and found it very interesting the way it was done... The power of the PARANORMAL and talking to the DEAD once they have passed over (obviously... that was a silly thing to say really wasn't it!!)... very, very interesting though!

If you ever get a chance to go and see any Psychics or Mediums, go along and see for yourself.

Had the Kedron-Wavell RSL Stop Smoking Seminar last night. It was a good seminar, and the clients who attended are all on their way as 'stopped smokers!'. Also checked out the Kedron-Wavell RSL's bigger rooms to host an 18+ comedy hypnosis show in the future.

Getting prepared now for Runcorn Tavern, and currently seeking a venue on the Gold Coast to host an Australian First.
