S**T!!! My wife had dropped myself and my soundman off at the airport to go and do the show in MT. ISA, but she said that the car had been pulling to one side for a good few weeks, we both noticed it but did nothing about it because of being so busy with other things!!! A couple of days later she decided to take the car to a tyre depot, it was a place called TYRE PLUS in Nerang... because she was a female on her own she thought that the guys were trying to get a sale from her when they said she needed two new tyres on the back because the old ones are badly shot!!! BUT... to her amazement the guys took her to the car on while it was in the air on the ramp and she nearly started crying... why you might ask?Just look at the 'inner' tread on the tyre, and it wasn't just one tyre, it was both!!! They had both worn away from the 'inside' so it wasn't even visible when we had checked the tyres a few times before, in fact, the tyre treads were only very slightly worn AND, both tyres still had the nobblies on them, just like they do when they're brand new... The man at the tyre depot said that he can't understand how the tyres never blew, and how we weren't sent flying across the motorway!!! SO, please always, always get your car tyres checked, most places won't charge you to get them checked so get it done please!
